Layout of Cemetery
Mariana Mota needed help reaching out to the people of Aransas Pass, the ones that have family buried there, that they can find a grave where they are buried, some are unmarked, no headstone maybe a cross, a homemade tablet, a pipe, or just a rock. Back in 1994 she made a request to the Aransas Historical Society for a marker, they told her the cemetery needed to be platted, so she rolled up her sleeves and with a few family members she wrote down each plot, in 1996 she submitted the platted cemetery. the marker was finally placed in 1998. Our goal is to up grade, preserve, and beautify the cemetery, she has been trying for many years now.
